Parting Thoughts

We stayed at this park for nearly 2 weeks. They had an interesting layout with the perimeter sites having you pull forward into your spot, and you would loop through the grass to get your rig back out. It worked well, but was interesting. This appears to have been a former KOA, so there were a lot of trees and space around-as is typical for KOA’s.

Parting Thoughts
This park fills up quickly on weekends! It is also open year round. There is an 800 acre lake that comes right up to the park, so things can be very peaceful. We stayed here for nearly a week. The park has easy access from the highway, yet is very secluded with the lake and surrounding woods. However, it is also just a few miles from the many area shopping and eating choices. We really enjoyed this park.
